The ability of Luna's barrier material to breathe prevents heat buildup that often leads to sweating.

    A Luna premium mattress protector is a must have for those suffering from allergy triggers such as pollen, mold, dust mites and fungus. They are effective in preventing 99% of allergy triggers from penetrating through the membrane cover while still allowing the mattress to breathe. Periodically wash the mattress protector, like you would you sheets, and you’ll be able to remove allergy causing triggers that may be resting on the surface of the protector.     Luna mattress protectors work by using an exclusive hypoallergenic cotton terry toweling bonded with a waterproof polyurethane membrane layer. To enable the mattress to still breathe, Luna utilizes an exclusive Airflow Technology made up of proprietary microscopic pores in the polyurethane membrane layer. These pores allow air to pass through while preventing liquids from penetrating. Fitted sheet style sides are then attached to the edge of the cover making it a perfect fit for almost any mattress profile.
